Materials and Healthy
Environment Seminar
The
team at CETEC invite you to participate in this free industry
session at Rydges, South
Bank in Brisbane on Monday 26th October, 2009.
Pressure from government, architects, developers, constructors and
occupants is increasingly requiring tougher compliance to Indoor
Environment Quality and this seminar will give you the facts, plus
valuable insight.
The
seminar will cover the following topics including:
-
Government requirements for
flooring and coating systems, presented by Senior Representative from Department of
Public Works;
-
Selection of materials and product
chemical emissions;
-
Australian and
international guidelines for the selection of materials for the
Built Environment;
-
Highlights of the recently released
Managing Indoor Environment Quality guide from the Property Council
of Australia (PCA);
-
GBCA and NABERS rating
schemes as they relate to material, tailored for product/material
providers;
-
Indoor Environment
Quality (IEQ) and Facility Ecology; and
-
Pre and post occupancy IEQ and
productivity assessments.
We would expect that
material suppliers and in particular flooring manufacturers and
providers would benefit significantly from this seminar.
Numbers are limited, so reply
