In early August, Dr Vyt Garnys of CETEC presented at the Leading Green Thinkers Forum in Perth on Emerging green building trends and technologies in Europe following his trade mission visit to Germany with the Green Building Council of Australia. What's that Smell?
You are probably familiar with the “new” car smell or the “new or renovated” building odour. This situation arises due to the release of chemicals (emissions) from various materials. Less commonly considered are the effects of chemical emissions from everyday products, despite the increased likelihood of contact.
