Monash 2010 World
Environment Day Awards
Vega Press were recently awarded the Sustainable Business award at the Monash 8th Annual World Environment Day Awards held on 3rd June. Both Jack Noonan and Dr Vyt Garnys of CETEC attended the awards recognising the greenest households, businesses, buildings and community groups in the City of Monash. CETEC has sponsored the major sustainable business category for these awards since the awards' inception, eight years ago. Dr Vyt Garnys, Managing Director of CETEC, co-presented the major sustainable business award to Rob Nugent of Vega Press along with Bob Stensholt MP.
CETEC would like to congratulate Vega Press for winning the sustainable business award for being a leader in running a successful business, whilst reducing their impact on the environment. They have achieved excellent results in waste reduction and increased their recycling rates. Vega has also influenced others, convincing their suppliers to change their practices by questioning their environmental credentials.
