Winners at the Monash
World Environment Day Awards and Monash Business Awards
CETEC recently attended the Monash 7th Annual World Environment Day Awards on 4 June recognising the greenest households, businesses, buildings and community groups in the City of Monash. CETEC has sponsored the major sustainable business category for these awards since the awards' inception. Dr Vyt Garnys, Managing Director of CETEC, co-presented the major sustainable business award with the Hon. Bob Stensholt, MP. The winner was Southern Health - Green Champions Committee. The Green Champions Committee at Southern Health won their award for a detailed environmental plan to reduce energy and water use. This will result in an anticipated water saving of 5,644,000 litres per year plus a comprehensive recycling program. The 15th Annual Monash Business Awards Gala Dinner and Presentation Night was also held on July 24. Monash Business Awards Chairman, Russell Hannan, announced the winners of the 2008 - 2009 Awards. The winners are listed below with many also captured along with sponsors and presenters in the photographs on this page.
