CSIRO will be hosting a special seminar on "Lessons for Australia from the World Trade Centre Disaster", to be held at the Lehany Theatre, National Measurement Laboratory, West Lindfield, NSW, on Friday, 17th October.

Two prominent Canadian experts from the National Research Council of Canada, both invited members of the U.S. Government investigation teams, will present latest findings from the U.S. investigation on how the buildings collapsed and how most of the people survived the collapse.

Dr. Guylene Proulx is a world leading expert in human behaviour and Dr. Venkatesh Kodur is a world leading expert in structural fire resistance. Details of the seminar, including registration, can be found from the CSIRO website: http://www.cmit.csiro.au/home/events/ The seats are limited. Early registration is advised to guarantee a seat.
