Automated Design Checking Against Building Codes

You are invited to attend a seminar showing DesignCheck - an advanced computer software tool that allows automated design checking against building codes.

DETAILS: Thursday, 23rd February at 4:30-6:30pm at the Sydney Masonic Centre, 66 Goulburn St, Sydney.

DesignCheck was developed by the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Construction Innovation.  This software tool allows designers and building surveyors to quickly and easily assess for compliance against building codes.

DesignCheck allows:
Checking at various stages of schematic and detailed design
• Checking of designs by building code clauses
• Checking of designs by object types (e.g. spaces, doors, etc)

DesignCheck provides a way of assisting designers in identifying potential problems earlier and thereby reducing building risks.
