This service aims to give local manufacturers,
assistance in maintaining their competitiveness or growing their
business through enhancing product quality, process
improvement, technical innovation or product development.
CETEC has been appointed to provide free independent and confidential
technical advice. Since
1987 CETEC has been providing technical solutions to industry,
including the many varied sectors of manufacturing; e.g. automotive,
packaging, metals, plastics, food and chemical processing.
CETEC has delivered solutions for:
- Product Development: e.g. Formulation of advanced
cleaning product for leading Cleaning Goods company.
- Product Failure: e.g. Food industry issues such as odour
penetration and packaging malfunction.
- Process Quality: e.g. Debonding of coated plastic moulded
automotive components.
- Specialised Testing: e.g. Chemical emissions testing of
building and furnishing products for environmental accreditation.
- Health and Environmental Assessment: eg toxicity,

Small to medium manufacturers in the Cities of Kingston and
Monash will be offered a free personal consultation. However,
